Marvel's Spider-Man 2: How to Find All Spider-Bots

Spider-Bots are collectible items in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 that you will be collecting throughout the game. Unlike other side quests, the location of Spider-Bots is not displayed on the map, and they are the most numerous in the game. In this guide, we have described where each Spider-Bot is located to simplify your search.

There are a total of 42 bots scattered across different parts of New York. The good news is that when you open the map, you can always see how many are in a specific area and how many you have already found. As a reward, you will receive 150 experience and 100 parts for each. This quest is a reference to the Miles Morales cartoons, but you will only learn about this at the end.

You can't start searching right away. Wait for Ganke's call about a strange signal. This happens in the mandatory mission Spider-Spy? in the first act, which is quite early. A whole section will immediately open in the menu, conveniently showing all the found bots and the number remaining.

To not miss the robots, focus on the signal they emit. Besides the specific sound, you will also see it in the form of a large translucent sphere, similar to a soap bubble.

Such spheres are visible from quite a distance, and the bots themselves glow pink. The problem is that the signal appears and disappears, and the bots themselves do not appear on the map, so they are quite easy to miss.

Most often, the robots sit on the walls of buildings or roofs, but some just hang in the air — they are the hardest to catch.

There is a way to simplify the search. To do this, upgrade the suit's Movement skill tree to the All-Seeing ability. The description states that parts crates will be displayed on the mini-map, but more importantly, Spider-Bots will also become visible. Unfortunately, this does not extend to the city map as a whole, but it will help not to miss a robot when it hangs in space and you fly under it on the web.

The second tip is to try not to use fast travel. During the game, you will visit all available areas of New York and collect most of the bots just along the way. Fast travel will deprive you of this opportunity, so try to move as often as possible on your own.

Gliding at a high altitude is especially effective. This way, you can immediately see some bots at a distance that are hidden if you fly on the web between buildings.

Closer to the center of the park, there are several rocks. Focus on the building on the right side of the park. The rocks will be slightly lower.

In the northern part of the park closer to the left side, find the tunnel allowing cars to pass under the green area. The Spider-Bot will be on the inner part of one of the arches. Note that this road is not on the general map. It is only displayed on the mini-map.

Look for a tall silvery building with satellite dishes on the roof. It is located in the northern part of the district west of a small park. The robot crawls on one side of the building.

In the same area, go down — to the south. The Spider-Bot is hanging in the air above the skyscrapers, so find the tallest building and start gliding on wings. You will see it right away.

Visit the part of the district between two bridges. The Spider-Bot will be near the long fire escape of one of the gray buildings.

Head to the center of the Financial District. The Spider-Bot is hovering in the air. Use a tall building as a springboard or an air flow, as significant height is required.

All three Spider-Bots are located diagonally in the lower part of the district.

Look for an area near Greenwich. Your landmark is the graffiti of a woman with drawn 20-sided dice. A bot crawls on one of the corners of the cube.

The Spider-Bot awaits you on the wall between two buildings — one orange and one gray. The first is significantly taller than the second. The Spider-Bot is on the wall of the gray one.

The bot is hanging in the air near the bridge to Williamsburg. Face the bridge while in Chinatown and look to the right.

In the northeast of Queens, where the district meets Astoria, find a row of private houses. The bot crawls on the inner facade of a white building, opposite the garage.

Reach the Knisboro Bridge. Stand with your back to the district and face the bridge, then keep a bit to the right. You will see several basketball courts. A bot crawls on one of them.

In the southwest of the district, there is another bridge leading further north to Little Odessa. Reach the very end of Queens and turn around on the bridge. You will find yourself at the entrance to the district. The bot is on the left building with many fans.

This is the first bot you will get during the Spider-Spy mission. In this case, Ganke will help with the search, so there will be no problems with the robot.

You need to find graffiti depicting Jonah Jameson. It is located in the northern part of the district and is painted almost on the entire wall of a building. A bot crawls on the graffiti.

In the very northwest part of the district, find a building with the inscription Modern Art. Approach from the river side and go under the canopy with large rectangular columns. The bot is on the ceiling.

Keep to the right side of Central Park and enter Harlem right after the top right corner of the green area. Find two large buildings that look like squares. There is a narrow alley between them. The bot is on the wall of the right building in this alley.

A little below the cemetery, which is in the northern part of Harlem, there is a park between the houses. Relative to the entire district, it is located in the west. On one of the buildings, there is a large graffiti with a book and an African American woman. The bot is on it.

In the southwest part of the district, there is a park with a large building in the center. This structure has a white dome and many columns. Descend to the ground and walk around it to find the bot.

In the northeastern part of the district, there are two large pipes. The bot is on one of them.

Keep to the eastern edge of the district and head south. You should find a construction site and a large building. The Spider-Bot will be on one of the walls, covered by scaffolding.

Head to the western edge of the district, approximately in the center, on the riverbank stands a very tall skyscraper. Climb the building and you will see a balcony with an outdoor pool. There will also be a gazebo with a wooden canopy. The bot is on it.

In the southernmost part of the district, approximately in the center, there is a large park. You need to go a bit to the right of it. Find a tall white building with brown window inserts. Almost under the roof on the wall is the bot.

Just north of where you found the previous bot, rises the Empire State Building. The bot will be on the wall under the observation deck, almost at the top.

In the northeastern part of the district, there is a large road with trees. Move along it from north to south and you will see a large building with a sloped triangular roof. It has a lot of glass or solar panels. You need to jump on the wall on the opposite side of the slope to find the bot.

You need to go to the lower left corner of the district (southwest). Find a skyscraper entirely made of glass with a large balcony. From this balcony, look at the top of the building and you will see the bot on the wall.

The second bot is located slightly above the previous one and closer to the center. Finding it is not so easy because the bot is on the wall of an unremarkable brick building. Use the Avengers Tower as a landmark. From there, move west.

The entire Upper East Side is crossed by one large street. You need its northern part. Pay attention to the buildings in the east, almost at the very edge of the district. Look for a billboard located on the corner of the roof.

In the southeast (bottom right), find the street that runs diagonally and starts from Central Park. You need to go slightly north from almost the very start. The skyscraper stands on the border with the green zone. On its top is a large rectangular black roof, resembling an additional box. The bot is on the wall of this structure.

In the lower left corner of the district stands a large gray skyscraper. The lower part of the windows is gray or dark gray, and the upper part is just dark. The bot is on one of the walls under the roof.

Upper West Side is another district through which a large street runs in the center. In its northern part, on the left, there is a large courtyard (to the west). Inside, find a long building. It is gray at the bottom and then brown. The bot is located at the top.

Again, find the street that divides the district almost into equal halves. At the very bottom (south), deviate slightly to the right. The desired building will be between the main street and the bottom right corner. You need a church. In this district, there are several — a large one and a smaller one. We need the latter. Go into the alley at the back of the building. On the wall of the church is the Spider-Bot.

On the western edge of the district, find the middle. There are three large smoking pipes. The bot is on one of them.

The bot hangs in the air almost in the center of the district. You can't reach it from Hell's Kitchen, so it's easiest to find a high-rise in the neighboring district — Midtown. Using air currents and wings, you can grab the robot on the fly.

In the very top right corner of the district (northeast) stands a tall skyscraper. It has a proper square shape and expands upwards. On the roof of the building, there is a round tower that starts from the wall and goes up. If you climb to the very top, it turns out to be the Fantastic Four's base. The high-rise attracts attention, so you won't miss it. On the wall behind the tower is the bot.

Once you have all the bots, Ganke will call you. He will give you the coordinates. Upon reaching the location, you will see a cutscene referencing the Spider-Verse. After the scene, you will receive 1000 experience points and 400 parts.
