Crime Scene Cleaner Walkthrough Guide: All Tape Locations, Secrets, and 100% Level Completion

In Crime Scene Cleaner, the player has to clean up a crime scene, find all the evidence, and remove traces of the incident. Additionally, Kowalski can earn extra by exploring the location and finding caches. In this guide, we will tell you how to perfectly complete a level, where to find all the tapes, and how to unlock secret rooms.
What Equipment to Use
The game has many items that help tidy up the room. We'll tell you a little about each of them and note their necessity:
- Hands (1) — Used for carrying the bucket of water and interacting with items. For most actions, you should have nothing in your hands. You can press "1" or select the central circle in the item selection window;
- Mop (2) — Cleans floors and walls well and quickly but easily breaks items. Used for initial cleaning, but you'll often have to wash off blood. A bucket of water is required for cleaning;
- Sponge (3) — Used for cleaning fabrics, carpets, and delicate cleaning. At maximum improvement, it replaces the mop, although the range is small;
- Trash Bin (4) — Helps remove shards and other small debris. When the bin is full, you need to take the bag to the start of the level;
- Pressure Washer (5) — An indispensable tool if you need to quickly get rid of a large amount of dirt. Suitable for cleaning walls and ceilings;
- Water Bucket (6) — Necessary for cleaning the mop and sponge. Can be mixed with different cleaning agents to simplify cleaning. Unstable and will tip over if you pass by;
- Cleaning Agents (7) — Various temporary buffs that can be used in the water bucket and later in the pressure washer;
- Lamps (8) — Regular lighting fixtures and a UV lamp. Often used and needed if you want to perfectly complete levels;
- Additional Tools (9) — This includes axe, ozonator, and ladder. The axe speeds up the destruction of items, and the ozonator is necessary if you don't want to spend an hour and a half in real-time on a level. The ladder found no use, as the pressure washer handles distant dirt.
Which Skills to Upgrade First
The more secrets you find, the more upgrade points you will receive. You can get 5 points for the first perfect job. It's best to unlock the ozonator first, which will speed up cleaning, and also improve the cleanliness sensor. Later, the portable flashlight and omnidirectional flashlight will be useful, simplifying the exploration of dark places. After that, you can choose according to your preference — we really liked the pressure washer and sponge. By improving these two items, you could instantly clean walls and also clean delicately without breaking fragile items.
