New Valheim trailer showcased the update featuring the Ashlands. You can check it out now
The developers of Valheim, as promised, released a gameplay trailer for the Ashlands update. The update is now available for public testing.
Thanks to the Ashlands, the survival game will feature a new biome that represents a scorched stone desert. Heroes can expect over a dozen new creatures, a plethora of new weapon types, and crafting items. Additionally, ash falls in the region, damaging unprotected heroes, and wooden objects can now catch fire, with the flames capable of spreading to other regions.
Before testing the update, the developers advise making backup copies of their worlds and starting a new game. Currently, the developers are working on patches that will fix various bugs and allow the update to be released in full.
Valheim is available on PC and Xbox consoles. Game Pass subscribers can play for free.
