An hour of Gothic Remake gameplay has been released on YouTube

THQ Nordic brought the promised demo version of Gothic Remake to Gamescom. German YouTuber HandOfUncut has already shown its playthrough.

For the demo version, the authors created a new main character, unrelated to the Nameless Hero from the original game. In the video, he meets Diego, explores the surroundings of the colony, and interacts with other characters. There are almost no battles here, although there is a small fragment where the hero is attacked by scavengers.

Before this, the publisher demonstrated a full-fledged trailer of the remake, where even more locations could be seen. Players have already compared them to places from the original game.

The exact release date of Gothic 1 Remake is unknown. The game is promised to be released by April 2025.
