120 FPS in RE Village and 8K in Gran Turismo 7: Developers Reveal Key Improvements for PS5 Pro

The official PlayStation blog has revealed many details about the performance of the PlayStation 5 Pro. Several major studios have shared how they utilized the power of the new system.

Gran Turismo 7 — ray tracing in races and experimental 8K/60 FPS mode;
Horizon Forbidden West — improved graphics and 4K/60 FPS performance mode;
The Last of Us Part 1 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered — exclusive 4K performance modes (1440p with PSSR upscaling) at 60 FPS;
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 — 4K/60 FPS modes;
Hogwarts Legacy — enhanced ray tracing and higher resolution;
Dragon's Dogma 2 — increased frame rate;
Resident Evil Village — 120 FPS support;
Resident Evil 4 — higher frame rate and increased detail through PSSR;
Dragon Age: The Veilguard — improved resolution and graphics in «Quality» (30 FPS) and «Performance» (60 FPS) modes. The performance mode supports Raytraced Ambient Occlusion technology — on the base PS5 it only works in «Quality» mode;
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor — improved «Quality» mode (with 2160p) and «Performance» mode (stable 60 FPS with higher resolution and ray tracing);
Rise of the Ronin — increased frame rate and greater detail;
Metal Gear Solid Delta — PSSR support and increased frame rate;
The First Descendant — extended ray tracing with more realistic shadows and lighting;
Alan Wake 2 — introduction of ray tracing, improved «Performance» mode with dynamic resolution up to 4K;
Stellar Blade — 4K mode at 50 FPS and above, as well as HFR option for 80 frames per second;
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth — new mode combining «Quality» and «Performance»;
The Crew Motorfest — sharper image quality, increased number of objects on screen;
Assassin's Creed: Shadows — increased detail, improved global illumination technology with ray tracing.

PS5 Pro sales start on November 7. Pre-orders will begin tomorrow.
