Cyberpunk 2077 Sales Top 30 Million Units
CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed 30 million copies sold across all platforms, according to the company's latest financial report.
The developer has moved another 5 million units since October 2023. The Phantom Liberty expansion has also sold a robust 8 million copies.
Netflix's next Cyberpunk project, announced at Geeked Week in September, will be an anime series. Further details remain undisclosed.
Interestingly, reports suggest that a team of just 64 people is currently working on the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel. This number seems unusually small for a major AAA title.
Separately, CD Projekt RED recently announced that full production has begun on The Witcher 4.
As a reminder, a Mac version of Cyberpunk 2077, requiring M-series chips, is under development and scheduled for release in early 2025 via the Mac App Store, Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
