Another PlayStation Exclusive Heads to Steam: Rise of the Ronin Announced for PC
Team NINJA has announced a PC version of their action RPG, Rise of the Ronin, which is currently only available on PlayStation 5. It is set to launch on Steam on March 11th.
The PC version will feature several enhancements, including support for 8K resolution, 120 FPS, 3D audio, and DirectX 12 Ultimate, as well as ray tracing, ultrawide monitor compatibility, and customizable keyboard and mouse controls. The game will also support AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and Intel XeSS technologies. The Steam page for the game is now live.
Here are the minimum system requirements (1080p, 30 FPS):
- OS: Windows 10/11;
- Processor: Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600;
- Memory: 16 GB RAM;
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (8GB);
- Storage: 180 GB.

Rise of the Ronin was developed by the studio that created Nioh. The game received mixed reviews from critics (77/100 on OpenCritic). It was praised for its characters, setting, and combat system, but criticized for its uninspired open world, story, and optimization.
