Corsair CEO Speculates About GTA 6 PC Release Date

While there is no news about the release of the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 6 from Rockstar Games, computer hardware manufacturers are busy preparing. As mentioned in Corsair's quarterly report, the port could be released in early 2026.
The information came straight from the transcript of Corsair's latest Q4 2024 conference call. As CEO Andy Paul said in a discussion of Blackwell 50-series GPU sales, "GTA 6, the most anticipated and hardware demanding game, is now in sight, although still likely a year away". His forecast was also supported by Corsair's vice president of finance and investment Ronald van Veen:
GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we'll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console. My understanding now it's going to come out in the fall for console, and then early '26 for PC.
According to Take-Two's latest financial report, GTA 6 is still scheduled to release on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 this fall. While there has been no talk of a PC version, it's not uncommon for Rockstar Games to release games on some platforms first and then move on to others.
Earlier, a former GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 animator suggested that Rockstar is already testing GTA 6.
