Bethesda Offers a Chance to Contribute to The Elder Scrolls 6—as a Charity Reward

Bethesda has unexpectedly broken its silence on The Elder Scrolls 6—but not in the way fans were hoping. The company has announced a charity auction, where the winner will get the opportunity to create their own NPC for the game.

Calling all gamers and fantasy fans! This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allows you to immortalize yourself in one of the most highly anticipated video games of all time, The Elder Scrolls 6. The Elder Scrolls series, developed by Bethesda Game Studios, is renowned for its vast open worlds, deep lore, and immersive storytelling. With this exclusive experience, you'll work with the developers to create a custom character that will appear in the game, leaving your mark on the legendary franchise.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the nonprofit Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, which grants wishes for critically ill children. At the time of writing, the highest bid for the lot stands at $10,450.

Back in 2019, Bethesda also promised to digitize gaming YouTuber Shirley Curry, who recently turned 88. The "Skyrim Grandma" recently announced that she would be stepping away from Let's Plays to focus on other hobbies.

The Elder Scrolls 6 was first announced in 2018, and its release date remains unknown.
