Insider: Oblivion Remake Could Launch Immediately After Announcement
March 14, 2025, 10:05 AM

The insider community has shared a small update on The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remake. Blogger NatetheHate, who previously claimed the game would launch before June, has now provided a more specific timeframe.
According to him, the remake will be announced and released in April. This prediction aligns with an earlier report from VGC.
The insider notes that the gap between announcement and release will be minimal. Microsoft may opt for a "shadow drop," similar to what they did with Hi-Fi Rush.
We first reported on the Oblivion remake back in January. The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 and will feature various improvements, including an enhanced combat system. The project is being handled by Virtuos.
