Where to Get the «A Test of Faith» Quest
Bones are one of the types of collectible items and part of the «A Test of Faith» quest. The quest can be received in Chapter 2, but it can only be completed towards the end of the game because you will need to visit areas where there are bounty hunters. After completing the story, they leave, and you can gain access to the full map. In the progression list, the quest is considered completed after completing the related quest of Deborah MacGuiness. Simply collecting the bones is not enough. Large bones are usually found on mountain peaks. Once you find them all, Deborah MacGuiness will reconstruct the skeleton.

Completing the Task
For the task to be considered complete, you need to write to Miss Deborah. Go to any post office, for example, in Valentine (marked on the map) and send the coordinates of the bones to Deborah.
Now wait 24 hours. You can sleep in the camp twice in a row to skip more than 24 hours. Then return to the post office to receive your reward and an invitation from Deborah.
After reading Deborah's letter (open satchel > documents > invitations), the marker for her quest will appear on the map. She is located at Firewood Rise in Cumberland Forest, northeast of Valentine. If the icon does not display, you need to sleep some more.
Deborah will show you the dinosaur skeleton she has made. She calls it Elizabethan Megsaur. As a reward for your adventures, she will hand you a knife made from a Stegosaurus bone. Below is an image of the completed dinosaur skeleton and the knife.
