Complete List of Fallout 4 Companions and the Perks They Provide

In this article, we've compiled a list of companions you can take with you on your journey through the Wasteland of Fallout 4, their locations, as well as information on the perks their presence in your company provides.

Keep in mind that if your relationship level with each of the companions in Fallout 4 reaches high values, special perks will be unlocked, which will prove to be extremely useful in a number of game situations.

Codsworth

This is the first companion you'll meet in the world of Fallout 4. The robot has waited for you for 200 years, but is still ready to hit the field and kick some butt. You can find him in your own house in Sanctuary Hills.

His perk Robot Sympathy is extremely useful at the beginning of the game — it increases damage resistance by 10%, and also gives a 10% damage boost against enemies armed with any energy weapon.

Dogmeat

This is the second character you'll meet as you progress through Fallout 4. Piper

Paladin Danse

Nick Valentine

Curie

This is another robot, which can be found in Vault 81 and is a product of the ancient Curie corporation.

Her perk Combat Medic automatically restores 100 health points if it falls below 10% of the nominal. It has a long cooldown period, so it's not a fact that you will choose this character.

Cait

This character is perfect for combat as she delivers deadly blows, and she is also great at picking different locks. Head to the combat zone in Boston and clear it of raiders. Cait will join you shortly after that.

Her perk Trigger Rush is also tied to health. When it falls below 25%, action points regenerate at a faster pace.

Deacon Cloak

This companion is located in the wilderness of the Wasteland. You will need to find the headquarters of the «Railroad» and from there go to the «Old North Church,» where you will meet Deacon, he can also help you join a new faction.

His perk Cloak & Dagger increases stealth duration by 40% and increases damage from stealth attacks by 20%.

John Hancock

By periodically visiting Scollay Square in the area of «Goodneighbor,» you can meet this character, who is readily willing to join your faction.

His perk Isodoped is quite specific — critical shots and hits occur 20% faster when you have «eaten» 250 units of radiation.

MacCready
