Sonic X Shadow Generations Hits 1.5 Million Sales

SEGA has announced that Sonic X Shadow Generations has surpassed 1.5 million copies sold. This milestone was reached just one month after the game's October 22nd release.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a remaster of the 2011 platformer Sonic Generations, featuring a brand-new story campaign centered around Shadow the Hedgehog. The title has received critical acclaim, earning an 80/100 metascore on OpenCritic and a 97% positive rating on Steam. It's available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The PC version (Steam and Epic Games Store) includes Denuvo anti-cheat protection.

This news follows the recent announcement from GSC Game World that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has sold over one million copies.
