About the Game

Playing 17 Played 7 Completed 20

Sonic Generations is a platform adventure spanning different eras of Sonic games. A mysterious power creates time holes that send Sonic and his friends into the past, where he meets familiar characters and a younger version of himself. They must defeat their enemies, free their friends, and discover who is behind the chaos.

Players run through levels as both Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic. Classic Sonic moves through side-scrolling 2D stages and uses the Spin Dash, while Modern Sonic races through 3D environments with the Homing Attack and Sonic Boost. Familiar locations from the series’ history are rebuilt in HD. Freeing Sonic’s friends unlocks additional challenges, and the levels also feature bosses and rivals from his past.
