Josef Fares, the creative mind behind It Takes Two, has made it clear—his studio Hazelight will never develop a live-service game. Speaking to Eurogamer, Fares didn’t hold back his feelings about the trend, stating that such a model is simply not the right path for game development.

Josef Fares, founder and head of Hazelight Studios, recently announced that he will be attending The Game Awards 2024, where he will unveil his new game. Rumor has it that the project is called Split Fiction and has been in development for about two years.
