NVIDIA has announced plans to enhance the gaming experience on the Steam Deck with the development of a native GeForce Now app. This move promises to bring high-quality cloud gaming to Valve's portable console, enabling users to enjoy modern games at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.

Valve has introduced a limited edition of the Steam Deck OLED in white. The official price is set at $679. Sales will commence on November 18 (at 3PM PT), 2024 .

Recently, Steam Deck designer Lawrence Yang answered a question in an interview about whether Valve plans to release a new model of the console in the near future. For reference, the original version was released in February 2022, and the OLED version in November 2023.
