Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox Nano Controller, a compact gamepad launching on November 4, 2026, across dozens of countries.
The new controller weighs in at just 99 grams and will retail for $49.99. Despite its pocket-sized length of just over 5 inches (12.7 cm), it packs all 18 standard inputs, maintaining the familiar layout Xbox players are used to. The device features a rechargeable battery and a programmable Action button that can be mapped for taking screenshots, recording gameplay, or other quick commands. The Xbox Nano supports Xbox Wireless for connecting to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, as well as Bluetooth for wireless pairing with Windows 10/11 PCs, tablets, iOS and Android devices, and compatible Smart TVs.
In the US, holiday shoppers purchasing select Samsung TV models will get a bundle featuring the new controller alongside two months of Game Pass Ultimate. This promotion will be available exclusively to new subscribers.
