Deus Ex: Human Revolution Review
Released in 2000, Deus Ex made a real revolution in the gameplay and storyline of computer games, setting a new standard for game development. The innovative ideas implemented in this game were later used in many other games. The sequel (or rather prequel) released 11 years later, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, although not claiming to be revolutionary, maintains the signature style of Deus Ex and contains many well-implemented ideas. It can be said that Human Revolution has no flaws. A charismatic main character, a coherent plot, powerful opponents, a solid arsenal of weapons, and a huge number of upgrade elements — all of this is perfectly balanced and makes you want to play the game more than once.

Prototype 2 Review
Chaos, destruction, murder — all of this New York had to endure because of Alex Mercer, the first "prototype". But, apparently, the developers of the game Prototype decided that New York hadn't suffered enough and brought Prototype 2 to life.

Max Payne 3 Review
Max Payne — a famous fighter for justice — returns after several years. The years have not been kind to the young, energetic guy with a luxurious mane and a firm six-pack. The Max who has returned to us is not the one everyone knew; he has gained quite a bit of weight, shaved his head, and, of course, aged. But with the years, his hatred of crime has not faded. Our hero still thirsts for justice and is ready at any moment to take a gun in hand and deliver righteous judgment.

Dirt 4 Review — The Right Compromise
After the mediocre Dirt 3 and the quite unclear Dirt Showdown, the British from Codemasters significantly damaged their reputation. In attempts to please everyone, the games focused on casualness, which negatively affected the perception of the games by the devoted fans of the Colin McRae Rally series. Fortunately, they managed to rehabilitate in 2015 when a game with the simple name Dirt Rally was released. Offering players an engaging learning model, uncompromising driving difficulties, and the requirement for full concentration, the game managed to win the hearts of off-road enthusiasts. Now, a new numbered part of the series, Dirt 4, has appeared on the scene, promising to make a compromise between strict realism and casualness.

Street Fighter X Tekken Review
There are quite a few fighting games, and each of these games has its own fighters, arenas, and moves. The only thing that unites all these games is the fights. Over the past few years, fighting games have made significant progress. Flat images have gained volume, new, more powerful strikes and moves have appeared, and gradually, storylines are being written for fighting games. Of course, no such storyline can boast relevance or excellent execution, but it's still more interesting to play when there is at least some goal.

There are many games about the Great Patriotic War. Much more than anyone can imagine. This year (2012), the ranks of World War II games have been replenished. A new recruit is the project by Rebellion Developments — Sniper Elite V2. I don't know why the developers chose such an unusual name, but that's not the main thing. The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn Review
The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn is a game based on the film that was recently "playing" in all the cinemas of the country. But Tintin himself was "born" a long time ago, back in 1929, on the pages of comics. From the comics, we learn that Tintin is a restless reporter who will go to any lengths to capture something special. In 2011, the comic transitioned into a film, and soon after, into a game.

Tropico 4 Review
Speaking of Tropico 4, one cannot fail to mention the third part, which we saw two years ago. Transitioning to full 3D, the game revived a series forgotten by many and offered to experience all the hardships of life as a banana dictator. The game was a success. It was loved at least because fans of city-building simulators had almost no choice, and there was simply no other series about small states in the Caribbean. And the game itself was good. Good in terms of graphics, atmosphere, gameplay, balance...

Game of the Year according to the VGTimes Editor-in-Chief. Rodion Ilin shared his own list of the best games of 2024
It can be assumed that the editor-in-chief of a gaming media plays games day and night, goes through all the new releases from cover to cover, and juggles gamepads like a magician. But the reality is more prosaic. The head of any major media is, first and foremost, sorry for the repetition, a leader: an editor, team lead, process organizer, a public and responsible figure. Therefore, the selection of games must be approached with special care to invest time only in truly worthy—or significant in terms of gaming history and industry (!) — projects. In this article, I will share my list of the best games of 2024.

Review of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl — is it early access?
In the distant 2007, all computer game enthusiasts in the CIS were presented with a revelation in the form of a project that didn't particularly stand out, but offered an incomparable atmosphere. And although the action of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl unfolded in Chernobyl, everyone found something personal and familiar in the local abandoned and shabby landscapes. And now, 17 years later, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has finally been released. Regardless of the quality of the game itself, this is a significant event for the entire industry, and even more so for the CIS. Much has changed over the years, including relations between states. Fans have grown up, started families, some have aged, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has remained just like its original. Whether this is good or bad, let's figure it out.
