Fallout 76 Update Lets Players Become Ghouls

Fallout 76 has received a major update, Ghoul Within, introducing a long-requested feature—players can now become ghouls for the first time in the franchise’s history.
The transformation process, known as “ghoulification,” is part of the new Leap of Faith questline. Upon completing it, players gain unique abilities: Feral removes hunger and thirst needs (but increases reliance on chems), while Glow boosts health based on radiation levels. The update also introduces 28 new perks, including two legendary perks exclusive to ghouls.
However, turning into a ghoul has its drawbacks—certain factions will become hostile, and some questlines will be locked. Players can bypass this restriction by wearing a disguise.
To revert back to human form, players can use the character selection screen. However, reinitiating the transformation will cost 1,000 Atoms.
Currently, the Steam version of Fallout 76 is available at a 75% discount as part of the Spring Sale.
