ReShade is a universal post-processing injector for games and video software, developed by crosire. Imagine your favorite game with support for ambient occlusion, true depth of field effects, color correction, and much more... ReShade provides an automated and universal way to access both frame color information and scene depth data (the latter is automatically disabled during multiplayer to prevent misuse), as well as all the necessary tools to make use of this data.

The possibilities are endless! Add advanced SMAA edge-detection-based anti-aliasing, screen space ambient occlusion (SSAO), depth of field effects, chromatic aberration, dynamic film grain, automatic saturation and color correction, cross-processing, multi-pass blurring... the list goes on.

ReShade comes with its own shader language and compiler called ReShade FX. It allows you to define and use textures directly from shader code, render into them, change render states, access color and depth data, query custom values such as timers or key states, and much more.
