A Dark Room

A text adventure with survival and resource management elements, inspired by classic games in the genre, including Zork. The story begins in a dark room: the main character wakes up with a splitting headache and blurred vision, while mysterious voices hint that the main goal is to survive. At first, your options are limited, but gradually a complex world full of secrets and hidden stories unfolds beyond the room.

Gameplay is built around text descriptions, audio cues, and decisions that shape what happens next. The minimalist presentation leaves plenty to the imagination, letting you picture your surroundings and interpret events for yourself. As you progress, simple exploration grows into a major challenge involving resource management and the gradual revelation of the story. The Steam version offers an updated interface, support for controller and touchscreen controls, modding capabilities, and additional developer commentary.
