An arcade third-person combat flight game in which the player pilots an F-14 Tomcat fighter on a series of missions. The aircraft takes off from the carrier SEGA Enterprise, and the objective on each of the 18 stages is to destroy enemy forces.
Attacks use a machine gun and a limited supply of heat-seeking missiles. The missiles can be replenished by meeting another aircraft after several stages.
