A cheat and debug menu for Anime Shop Simulator. To open it, press F8 in the game.
The mod was created for checking other mods, so it has many functions that are useful to a developer: spawning the right customer, clearing a shelf, stopping the time. Ordinary cheats are here too, so take whatever you need.
Mod features:
Money and progression:
- Set your money with buttons or pick one of the values right away: 0, 10 thousand, 100 thousand, 1 million, 10 million.
- Infinite money. When the amount drops below half of the set target, the wallet is refilled automatically. Because of this, ordinary spending is still visible on screen, and the number does not instantly jump back to its previous value.
- Change the number of crystals, shop experience, shop level, the day counter and the number of tournament wins.
Employees:
- A list of all employees with profession, level, tier and experience.
- Available actions: change level, set tier, promote, boost, clear debt, hire an employee into an open slot.
- Grant promotion experience and spawn a cashier.
Time:
- Pause and resume the flow of time.
- Jump to any time of day. Opening hours are taken from the game, so you can only choose a time within the real working day.
- Time speed from fully stopped to 20 times faster than normal.
- End the day immediately or skip to the next day. When you skip, the day counter increases, and the quest system uses it to decide when to hand out quests.
Shelves:
- A list of all sales shelves with their product and item count. Tick the shelves you need.
- Aim mode: look at a shelf in the game and work with it directly, without the list.
- Two ways to empty a shelf, deliberately kept separate: delete the goods permanently, or return them to delivery as boxes from which you can restock the shelf.
- Drop a single item on the floor to check how the cleaners work.
Orders:
- Browse all boxes in the game and spawn from 1 to 200 of them right at the delivery point. No basket, payment or storage limit is needed.
- This is completely free. Boxes are created directly rather than ordered, so the game does not check whether your shop sells that product, and nothing is charged.
- Order cleanup: you can delete the selected product, all loose boxes or unopened furniture crates. Quest boxes, boxes on shelves and everything built into the shop are not affected.
Testing helpers:
- Turn customers off completely or send everyone home. This is handy for watching employee AI without interference.
- Spawn one customer of any type, including the thief and the shoplifter.
- Clean the whole shop.
- Teleport to the delivery point.
Unlocks:
- Skip the whole tutorial. All steps are completed, all popups are marked as seen, and everything the tutorial hands out along the way is unlocked. This way you will not be left without a mop, with crystals you cannot spend, or without access to half the building.
- Unlock all tools: mop, trash bag, decor kit and bat.
- Open the crystal shop, which is the stand that sells special packs for crystals.
- Open the clothes shop, which is the outfit stand that the game keeps closed until a certain day.
- Open the second floor, which is the upstairs room. This button moves quests forward past the one that unlocks the floor, so all earlier quests count as completed.
- Unlock all licences at once or one at a time.
- Buy the next shop or storage upgrade and view the amount of bills and rent you need to pay.
- If the game developers’ built-in cheat panel is still in your build, buttons will appear to open all cards, spawn debug buildings and show that panel.
Requirements:
- Melonloader 0.7.x
- The mod was built for Anime Shop Simulator version 1.0.5
Installation:
- Install Melonloader into Anime Shop Simulator and launch the game once.
- Extract the mod into the game folder. The archive already contains the file Mods\CheatForDev.dll.
- Launch the game, load a save and press F8.
Things worth knowing:
- Numbers are changed with buttons, not typed on the keyboard. This is not a style choice: in this game the Unity text field is stripped out of the build, so it cannot be displayed. When the menu is first opened, it checks which controls are left in the game, builds itself from them and writes the result to the Melonloader console. If the console says a control is not in the build, this is normal and is not an error.
- The mod works only in singleplayer and for the host. Almost all functions run on the server side. For a client in a multiplayer game, the menu opens and tells you so, but the buttons do nothing.
- The menu opens only after a save is loaded. There is nothing to cheat at in the main menu.
- The window is dragged by its title bar. The mod remembers where you left it.
