The Trackfab Apache mod for BeamNG.drive introduces a lightweight, desert-ready buggy built for high-speed off-road performance. Inspired by real-world 4-cylinder race buggies, it combines low weight, long suspension travel, and realistic vehicle behavior.
Main features:
- Rear-wheel drive layout with weight under 1000 kg;
- Powered by a 2.0L engine sourced from the Ibishu Pessima;
- Over 20 inches of suspension travel for off-road racing;
- Optional touring car interior and nitrous oxide setup for more power;
- Requires Trackfab Offroad Wheels and Racetec Universal Racing Parts mods.
Version 2.1 changes:
- Replaced Pessima’s 2.0L engine with the full Ibishu engine range (1.5L DOHC/SOHC, 1.8L SOHC, 2.0L DOHC, 2.4L DOHC);
- Dual-wishbone variants now use the 2.4L engine with higher torque;
- Liquid-cooled and girder suspension variants use a 1.8L SOHC engine;
- Front chassis weight reduced by ~80 kg and suspension retuned;
- Improved and fixed multiple skins;
- Updated info files with new balance values and release years;
- Fixed longitudinal arm grid issues;
- Added brake glow and refined thermal sensors;
- Front brakes now integrated into one unit;
- Fixed missing amber lights and unified glow map behavior;
- Restored consistent thumbnails;
- Separated left/right suspension grids to fix deformation issues;
- Added collision nodes to the tailplane;
- Modified tail panels to use components and reduce jamming risk.
