Rise of the East.
Updated single-player campaigns for RA2 and YR along with a dynamic multiplayer mode focused on balance. Rise of the East introduces two entirely new factions: Eastern Asia (China) and the GLA from Generals. Full multiplayer functionality using the CnCNet Client and a plethora of new and unique features, visual effects, enhancements, units, and much more!
2.3 Progress Report:
- This update looks promising, and I will ensure its delivery. We decided to redesign the terrain with moderate, urban, and desert climates.
- Some landscape features will be removed in the upcoming 2.3 updates, but will be replaced only with new, improved features — stay tuned for new updates soon!
- Additionally, there will be one extra sub-faction added for each side; can you guess what they are? I'll start with the most obvious. Japan will have some fun technologies from RA3.
- All sub-factions will receive new units and support powers where necessary, and some technologies will be transferred to the new factions. The goal is to add more variety without increasing any of the current compositions.
