Total War series of games
The Total War series of games consists of dozens of strategies that tell about the world's protracted wars in different eras. They cover the Middle Ages in Europe, the times of Feudal Japan, the fall of the Roman Empire, and many other time periods.
Moreover, Total War also covers the Warhammer universe, so the series has several fantasy strategies with magic and various unique races like the Skaven.
Battles in Total War take place in real time, and movement on the world map is based on turns. Often the player has to rebuild his cities and hire special people who help organize coups in enemy armies.
