Here it is, here it is - a game that opened a new world for me. The universe of this game is one of my favorites. I admire her endlessly.

How amazing it was to board the Ishimura for the first time as an engineer looking for his beloved, and end up diving into a living nightmare hell and turning into a crazy dismemberment driven by an alien obelisk. It was a truly exciting adventure that made the blood freeze in my veins. The soul-devastating fear did not leave throughout the entire game. Each corridor carried a mysterious veil of horror, and screams and crying were seen behind the walls. Brrr, I remember it like yesterday. Creepy. Dead Space is a game created by EA Redwood Shores (now known as Visceral Games). This is one of the few projects that successfully combined action with horror elements.

The plot unfolds when a technical ship is sent to the USG Ishimura, from which a distress signal was received. A rescue team consisting of five crew members, including the main character engineer Isaac Clarke. After an emergency landing, Isaac Clarke and the rest of the crew find themselves on the Ishimura, but no one is there. Having walked inside the ship, the lights suddenly go out and necromorphs appear. After this, they realize that they are not alone here on the Ishimura.

Let me start by saying that this is the first horror game I've completed. The game is very addictive! You can be sure that this creation is capable of scaring everyone, and those who say that they were not scared during their FIRST playthrough are most likely lying!

Dead Space is the first part of the famous horror series from Visceral Games, in which our hero Isaac Clarke (by the way, his name was obtained by merging the first and last names of the famous science fiction writers Isaac Asimov and Arthur Charles Clarke) still does not understand where he is hit, which means, unlike the 2nd and 3rd parts, he himself is afraid, because he has not yet become a kind of “space Rambo” like in Dead Space 3, therefore the 1st part of the series is the scariest!

A very atmospheric and scary game, which is why it’s good.

I played through it three times and I can say that it is one of the best

games in the survival horror genre.

Dead Space is a horror classic that's actually still alive since launch. Even today, I can easily get into the spirit of the dark and scary corridors of USG Ishimura and get that legendary gameplay and tons of content to create my own way of fighting against the scary necromorphs. I'm very sure that even after several years, it will still be very interesting for me to replay this game and relive the experience again.

Dead Space is a great game that I recently played, I just don't understand how I could have ignored it before, because the game is really good, especially for its time. This game is definitely flying into my top 5 games, I hope to play Remake, which was released recently, in the near future, I have high hopes for it and I hope it doesn’t disappoint me.

Quite a creepy, but very interesting shooter with horror elements. The game will force you to solve puzzles, save ammo and find out what happened on the space station.

I decided to go through old games that I had not played before. I expected it to be terrible. And it’s unlikely that they would give me anything... But I was very mistaken. The game is simply divine. Even in 2020, it plays simply gorgeous. I don’t feel like I picked this out somewhere. It plays like something new. I only got such a feeling when playing through the Resident Evil 2 remaster.

Dead Space is a very good series of games, and the first part is generally the best. I remember it was far from us in 2010, I bought some kind of disk with games, in my opinion it was a collection and there was Dead Space. The game simply fascinated me. This it was a classic horror game with good sound and great music. The plot was also not bad, although it was a little confusing and incomprehensible. Oh! First part of the series! Just great... well preserved. In this game you can be afraid of any rustle, knowing that someone will come out... You are scared to play this and meet the local inhabitants. There are not enough cartridges and first aid kits... This simultaneously creates a cocktail of emotions: fear, tension, panic, nervousness. The first part is not my favorite of this series of games, but I remember it for a long time for its plot, emotions and gameplay.

One of the best horror games out there right now. Tough, scary and sharp enemies, the analogues of which I have found almost nowhere else. Great design. You perfectly feel that you are in the middle of space, far from the nearest inhabited worlds and there is no place to wait for help. What adds even more horror is the fact that Isaac (the hero of the game) is absolutely mute, I don’t know why, but mute characters add even more fear to already unenviable situations.

Original weapon, hence the cool, slightly clumsy combat.

There are problems with optimization.

This game makes you remember that EA Games was once an excellent publisher of masterpieces, and not conveyors of feces, as it is now.

Any self-respecting gamer is simply obliged to go through this project, preferably more than once.

I love sci-fi settings, I love horror games, and I love having monsters of all kinds confront me in games, so I couldn’t pass up this game.

I liked the gameplay of Dead Space, although it was boring in places, I like the dismemberment of the game, I like the combat, etc.

The plot of the game is cool, and the idea with the obelisk seems simply brilliant to me.
