Hold the Door.
This mod keeps the doors of your locomotive open after you exit. It remains effective until you enter a new locomotive. Typically, once a player leaves the locomotive, its interactive functions are unloaded for performance reasons. This includes handles, sensors, levers, windows, and cabin doors. With this mod, the interior of the locomotive does not unload until you enter another locomotive. This means you can leave your locomotive, inspect the train, and return to the same locomotive to find your doors and windows in the same position you left them.
