Escape from Tarkov has rolled out its first season in update 1.1.0, alongside Battlestate Games' published Kord Breach trailer, and the new setup lets players pay Tarcoins to trigger an early seasonal reset. That means anyone who wants to restart a seasonal character before the automatic wipe now has to spend the currency instead of waiting for the usual reset cycle.

Battlestate Games began deploying update 1.1.0.0 for Escape from Tarkov on August 3 at 9:00 a.m. Moscow time. The patch opens the game's first season, Kord Breach, and adds a free Battle Pass, a seasonal character, and revised quest progression.

The Battle Pass is free, and Battlestate Games says every reward can be earned only through gameplay. It spans the seasonal, PvP, and PvE modes, with shared progression regardless of which format players choose.
