FROST – a survival simulator in a nuclear winter with gas masks and hunger

FROST transforms Fallout 4 from an RPG into a hardcore survival simulator, bringing a nuclear winter to the game world that forces players to wear gas masks on the surface.

The mod fundamentally alters the combat system – now both the player and NPCs take equal damage, and fights have become much more dangerous, as the player can die from just a couple of hits. Additionally, at the very beginning, the player will be weaker than others – to be on par, one must develop the character from a half-dead prisoner into a resilient wasteland warrior.

A multitude of new items, locations, and characters are added, completely replacing the old ones.

The mod must be unpacked into the game folder, but it should only be used with a special save – otherwise, FROST will not work or will function with errors.
