A modder has created his own version of a co-op mod for Far Cry 3. This has been reported by Western media.

Currently, according to the author, his development supports simultaneous play for up to 8 players. The modification boasts the presence of enemies, vehicles, outposts, as well as a complete open-world map. This feature distinguishes scubrah's work from the official co-op presented by Ubisoft in the standard version of Far Cry 3.

If you remember, in the original, no more than 4 players could be on the level together, and the quartet of heroes did not have access to the entire map presented in the single-player campaign of the shooter. Thus, according to journalists, the enthusiast's modification may surpass the quality and capabilities of the co-op originally built into Far Cry 3.

However, there is one important nuance regarding the modder's work: it is currently in alpha testing, which means that even the author cannot guarantee its stability. Nevertheless, scubrah intends to refine his project to the final stage, but when this will happen and if it will happen at all is unknown.

Именно эта особенность отличает работу scubrah от официального кооператива, представленного Ubisoft в обычной версии Far Cry 3.

Если помните, в оригинале совместно на уровне могли находиться не более 4 человек, при этом квартету героев не была доступна вся карта, представленная в одиночной кампании боевика. Таким образом, по мнению журналистов, модификация энтузиаста может превосходить по качеству и возможностям изначально встроенный в Far Cry 3 кооператив.

Правда, в случае с работой моддера есть один немаловажный нюанс: в настоящий момент она находится на стадии альфа-тестирования, а это значит, что даже сам автор не может поручиться за стабильность работы. Впрочем, scubrah собирается доработать свой проект до финальной стадии, но вот когда это случится и случится ли вообще, неизвестно.
