A chess program for playing against the computer or online opponents, studying games, and training. Fritz Chess 14 automatically adjusts its engine’s playing strength to the player’s level and provides hints, move explanations, and color-coded warnings about danger on the board.

The program includes game analysis, opening statistics, and training modules for openings, tactics, and endgames. Its database contains more than 1.5 million games, while a separate tool lets players compare chess-engine analyses and review position evaluations. Engine Match allows computer engines to play against one another.
