An unusual mod for the original Half-Life that transforms the game into a top-down shooter. Its developer claims that the now-famous shooter resembles Hotline Miami or Enter the Gungeon, but retains all the levels, mechanics, and combat system of Half-Life.

In Half-Life: Top-Down, there are two modes. In the first, the camera is fixed at a certain height above the character, while in the second mode, the camera moves depending on the traversed location, but in areas with low ceilings, it may shake or obstruct the view altogether.

To install the mod, you need to move the folder from the archive to the root folder of the game. Camera options can be changed in the settings.

Необычный мод для первой Half-Life, который превращает игру в шутер с видом сверху. Его разработчик утверждает, что теперь известный шутер выглядит как Hotline Miami или Enter the Gungeon, но со всеми уровнями, механиками и боевой системой Half-Life.

В Half-Life: Top-Down есть два режима. В первом камера размещается на фиксированной высоте от персонажа, тогда как во втором режиме камера будет перемещаться в зависимости от проходимой локации, но в местах с низким потолком она может трястись или мешать обзору в принципе.

Для установки мода нужно перенести папку из архива в корневую папку игры. Варианты камеры меняются в настройках.
