Modification for Half-Life brings the game back to its 1997 version with updated graphics and gameplay, preserving the core idea of the game in its alpha version. The mod adjusts the alpha version, simplifying some of its more tedious puzzles and making combat a bit closer to what it would be in the finished game. This is Half-Life as it could have been if some of its early ideas were polished instead of discarded and replaced.
