A quality-of-life utility mod for How To Fish that completely removes the penalty of losing inventory items upon death, knockout, or respawn. It also prevents the ragdoll impulse that launches held gear across the map, ensuring expensive weapons and rods don't end up deep in the ocean or mixed with friends' loot piles.
Mod Features:
- Full Backpack Protection: Prevents dropping your stored items and supplies when respawning.
- Held Item Retention: Safely places whatever you were holding directly back into your inventory.
- Anti-Launch Failsafe: If your inventory happens to be completely full, the held item drops safely at your feet rather than getting flung into the water.
Installation instructions:
- Ensure BepInEx is properly installed in your root game directory.
- Download and extract the mod archive.
- Move KeepInventory.dll into your plugins directory:
