A clean, lightweight weapon HUD mod for How to Fish that displays remaining rounds in your held weapon — rendered as a numeric counter, a row of pips, or both.
Main Features:
- Flexible HUD Display: Shows loaded ammunition as numbers, visual pips, or a unified hybrid readout.
- Attachment Awareness: Total magazine capacity dynamically scales when using extended magazine attachments.
- Vanilla Logic Accuracy: Tracks loaded magazine ammunition directly (reserve counts are omitted since ammo replenishments in-game fill the loaded clip outright).
- Pure Client-Side Implementation: Runs entirely locally without Harmony patches or network packets by reading Weapon.Ammo directly. Zero impact on other players when joining external lobbies.
- Live In-Game Config: Generates htf.ammocounter.cfg on first boot and integrates seamlessly with HtF Config Menu (F9) for real-time tweaking.
Controls:
- F10 — Toggle ammo counter visibility on / off.
- F9 — Open configuration menu (when using HtF ConfigMenu).
Installation:
- Ensure BepInEx 5.4.23.5 is installed.
- Place HtF.AmmoCounter.dll into: How to Fish/BepInEx/plugins/
- Launch the game.
