I never understood this cultish wanking of the 2002 original, which even back then played like a clumsy tank piece of crap with terribly flawed shooting, and its plot about a weak taxi driver was a banal fairy tale, the equivalent of a children's matinee based on a Scorsese film, where all the twists were obvious five miles ahead. Hangar 13 managed to release a remake of this overrated misunderstanding, not only failing to fix a single old gameplay flaw, but also multiplying them by modern casual standards. They tried to mold the dull original Tommy into a brutal alpha male, but the result was some kind of insolent, brainless underling, completely devoid of normal human motivation, simply running obediently down a corridor of crates, shooting at crowds of enemies with a degenerate grin. There are no many missions, and none of the most striking ones, for example, there is no shooting of a restaurant with a telephone booth, there is no mission at a railway crossing, there is no following behind an armored limousine, there is not much else. No traffic lights, no gasoline. The shooting from the first Mafia was more enjoyable. In general, in terms of gameplay, the first mafia was head and shoulders above the modern division. There is not the slightest desire to replay this remake, unlike the first and second parts.
Многих миссий нет, причем нет из числа самых ярких, например нет растрела ресторана с телефоной будкой, нет миссии на железнодорожном переезде, нет по6они за бронированным лимузином, нет много чего. Нет светофоров, нет бензина. Стрельба из первой Мафии была более приятной. В общем по геймплею первая мафия была на голову выше современого поделия. Переигрывать этот ремейк нет ни малейшего желания, в отличие от первой и второй части.

What a boring boring game compared to Mafia 2! All you can do is just shoot and drive. I can’t buy myself a weapon, I can’t upgrade cars, I can’t use trams and trains, I don’t have money, I can’t buy food, I can’t drink, I can’t do anything! Sarcastically, there is a "free ride" mode that allows you to "explore" the city, but what is there to explore?? I'd rather spend ten hours in Mafia 2 exploring the city, upgrading my cars, eating hamburgers, buying new clothes, drinking, robbing some gun store, polishing my shoes, or just watching people slip in the snow, than spend ten minutes in this game.

Какая скучная скучная игра по сравнению с Mafia 2! Все, что вы можете делать, это просто стрелять и водить машину. не могу купить себе оружие, не могу модернизировать автомобили, не могу пользоваться трамваем и поездами, не иметь денег, не могу купить еду, не могу выпить, ничего не могу сделать! Как ни саркастически, есть режим «бесплатной езды», который позволяет «исследовать» город, но что там исследовать ?? Я лучше проведу десять часов в Mafia 2, исследуя город, модернизируя свои машины, съедая гамбургеры, купив новую одежду, выпив, ограбив какой-нибудь оружейный магазин, отполировав обувь или просто наблюдая, как люди поскользнутся на снегу, чем проведите десять минут в этой игре.
