A foundational mod loader for Minecraft Dungeons II that allows seamless installation and execution of blueprint mods without modifying original game files. Installed modifications are loaded automatically whenever a level loads. The loader also integrates an in-game mod management interface with custom per-mod configuration menus.
Features:
- Mod Menu Integration — adds a "Mods" tab to the settings menu and a dedicated "MODS" button to the main menu.
- Installed Mods List — inspect installed modifications and access their respective configuration pages.
- Auto-Saving Configurations — changes made in supported mod menus are preserved automatically.
- Reset Mod Option — resets a specific mod's configuration back to its default state.
- Main Menu Label — displays the Blueprint Loader name and version in the top-left corner of the title screen.
- Main Menu Mods Button — toggles the visibility of the "MODS" button on the main menu.
- Non-Destructive Modding — mods run directly from the dedicated folder without overriding core assets.
Installation:
- Completely close the game and the Minecraft Launcher (if running).
- Open your Minecraft Dungeons II Paks directory:
Steam: Right-click the game in your library → Manage → Browse local files, then navigate to Dungeons\Content\Paks.
Minecraft Launcher / Xbox: Navigate to C:\XboxGames\Minecraft Dungeons II\Content\Dungeons\Content\Paks (or custom install path + \Content\Dungeons\Content\Paks). - Create a folder named ~mods inside the Paks directory if it does not exist already.
- Extract the archive and place the BlueprintLoader folder directly inside ~mods (resulting in Paks\~mods\BlueprintLoader\BlueprintLoader_P.pak).
(Only Blueprint Loader is required to play with mods; the Blueprint Mod Template is strictly intended for mod authors).
Uninstallation:
- Delete the BlueprintLoader folder from the ~mods directory.
