A Russian translation for the game MWC, implemented through BepInEx. The translation was done using AI followed by manual editing. The text is lively, not machine-like, with some adaptation and jokes.

About 99% of the content has been translated. There may be rare lines that don't immediately catch the eye.

Currently:

  • Almost all dialogues have been translated.
  • Items have been translated.
  • The terminal has been translated.
  • The journal with phone dialogues is almost fully translated.

There are options for author's and literary translations. The author's translation mixes in some casualness, while the literary one is entirely formal.

Installation:

  • Download and install BepInEx: unpack it into the game folder.
  • Run the game once to create the folders.
  • Download the localizer.
  • Unpack the archive into the folder: My Winter Car\BepInEx\.
  • Launch the game.

If the game crashes or doesn't work:

  • Go to the path BepInEx\config.
  • Open the file BepInEx.cfg with a text editor.
  • Scroll to the section [Preloader.Entrypoint] (it's at the very end of the file).
  • The second paragraph of the section has the line "Type = Application" at the end.
  • Replace "Application" with "MonoBehaviour" and save the file.

Русский перевод для игры MWC, реализованный через BepInEx. Перевод сделан с помощью ИИ с последующим ручным редактированием. Текст живой, не машинный, местами с адаптацией и шутками.

Переведено около 99% контента. Возможны редкие строки, которые не сразу бросаются в глаза.

На данный момент:

  • Переведены почти все диалоги.
  • Переведены предметы.
  • Переведён терминал.
  • Журнал с телефонными диалогами почти полностью переведён.

На выбор есть авторский и литературный перевод. В авторском переводе перевод намешан с «васянством», а литературный полностью формальный.

Установка:

  • Скачайте и установите BepInEx: распакуйте в папку игры.
  • Запустите игру один раз, чтобы создались папки.
  • Скачайте русификатор.
  • Распакуйте архив в папку: My Winter Car\BepInEx\.
  • Запустите игру.

Если игра вылетает или не работает:

  • Идем по пути BepInEx\config.
  • Открываем файл BepInEx.cfg с помощью текстового редактора.
  • Листаем до раздела [Preloader.Entrypoint] (он находится в самом конце файла).
  • Второй абзац раздела, в конце строчка «Type = Application».
  • Заменяем «Application» на «MonoBehaviour» и сохраняем файл.
