The game is NOT very friendly for newbies, as it is boring AF with some severely overpowered bosses & complicated menus. Fans of Elden Ring, Dark Souls, or Bloodborne may enjoy such, as they already know the engine type this game resembles. Contrary to Nioh 2, we have a very linear (enforced) intro, where we flee a prison cell with no map or guidance easily found. Also: Zero character customization, where Nioh 2 has an impressive freedom of player choices!
