In general, the game is gorgeous, even after passing the plot (which is already a lot) the player will do something to do, since the game has many different activities. The only minus game is long and sluggish and adders to itself for a long time.

Decided to play RDR2 once on a friend’s curling iron, and guess what? The game is great. The only negative is that the movements are very constrained (if you can call it that). If you fall off a horse, you need to get up in about 10 minutes. During this time, I’ll finish the tea faster.

On the third chapter I felt sucked into a black hole, sat down in the morning and got up in the evening. I wanted to complete ONE mission, but the side missions took me about 5 hours. I haven’t seen a game where all the side effects are 100% so interesting that I just don’t know where the more interesting missions are in the plot or in the side parts.

I was very impressed by the details in the game, the detailed hunting, the way we walk, and even how we ride a horse differently (depending on the circumstances).

According to the plot, only one thing made me literally cry - this was the fate of Arthur, well, all the time I became attached to him as in real life, and for everything that happened to him, I feel sorry for him.

The game has the most vibrant, richest, and most beautiful open world of any game of the decade. The plot is just perfect, Rockstar jumped over their heads. Branded phenomenal optimization from the creators of GTA. Incredibly beautiful graphics that most developers cannot achieve after 7 years. Red dead redemption 2 is a very controversial project for many. For some it’s dull *ahem*, but for others it’s the best game of the year. Let’s figure it out.

PLOT: it's very original. How many games have you seen in the last 5 years about redemption? I'm sure no more than three. Today's trends are revenge. Hello, Ubisoft! Some characters are hateful, as intended, which tells us about the good ones dialogues and direction.

GRAPHICS: it’s gorgeous. Unfortunately, my 1660 super can’t handle everything at maximum speed, but even at high-ultra with anti-aliasing (except TAA) and scaling turned off, it looks great. With optimization everything is ok, the game runs at 40-50 fps and throughout the entire game there were no significant drops in FPS.

Perhaps I like slow and story-driven games the most; they can immerse you in the atmosphere of time so much that it will be very difficult to get out of it. These games are most often either about the future (like Death Stranding) or about the past (like, in fact, RDR2). They tell us about those eras in which we were not, that’s why they are so addictive. I completed RDR for about 70 hours, and did not regret a single second of the time spent. Definitely one of the best games I've played.

How this game was overhyped at one time, how many positive things were said about it, but in reality it turned out that this is a typical “kill/fetch” game, where 80% of the time you are just stupidly downloading somewhere. The plot is trashy and predictable, some missions are absurd (cutting out the entire city to return 2 revolvers to Mika / going drinking with Lenny when your partner was taken hostage). The characters are boring, none of them are engaging. The choice in missions and on the map is purely formal and does not lead to anything. The controls are crooked, the shooting is terrible.
