Renowned Explorers: International Society

A strategy adventure with turn-based tactical conflicts, Renowned Explorers: International Society takes place in a fictional 19th-century world. The player leads expeditions and assembles a crew of three specialists from a roster of twenty, each with distinct skills and personalities. Routes and events are procedurally generated for each journey, with expeditions reaching places including Egypt and the Caribbean.

Conflicts can be resolved through melee and ranged attacks, speech actions, or by influencing opponents’ moods; the available approach depends on the crew’s composition and personalities. Expeditions yield treasures, insight, research, gold, and status, which help prepare for the next journey. Reputation develops along paths such as diplomacy, aggression, or manipulation, alongside pursuits of science, wealth, or status. In Adventure mode, defeat prevents reloading a save, while Discovery mode allows it.
