Tactical First-Person mode with iron sights for every weapon, custom aim stances, animations, and more.
Important notes:
- Requires REFramework and _Scriptcore;
- Some Iron Sight bullet spawns need to be adjusted in the Iron Sight settings menu. They can be adjusted too for custom weapon mods;
- Ctrl+right click to manually enter values instead of using the sliders;
- Transitions might be broken for custom head camera offsets so it’s probably best to leave them at 0 for now;
- Cannot guarantee compatibility with ultimate trainer and it may cause crashes. If changing costumes use the game menu;
- Try not to reset scripts as it can interfere with the 3rd person toggle;
- If using ada with hair strands, you will have to adjust the head/hair hide distance to prevent frame drops if the camera gets close when transitioning perspectives;
- Work best with Classic RE4 Laser and Realistic Rate of Fire , install in this order: TFP Mode->ClassicRE4 Laser->RROF;
- I had to bind the toggle to the aim button due to how the parameters are set. Some features such as the icon placement, do not set properly in FP until a camera change happens (aiming triggers this);
- Rifles in scope mode will be missing most of the model so you must use the Always Show Rifles When Scoped Mod or use Glitch's VR Weapon Pack and select the "always show rifles when scoped" addon. This also gives you the LE5 with Iron Sights;
- The default laser has issues in Iron Sight mode so it's best to use the Classic RE4 Laser mod if you want the best laser compatibility, especially when utilizing the custom aim stances;
- In Iron Sight mode, bullets come from the muzzle so some might not line up perfectly with the sights based on the range. There is an optional muzzle offset you can use to fine tune this;
- There is a more stable motion FPS/VR mod being worked on by someone else which will be better suited for VR since this mod still has most of the head bob. Be on the lookout for it: Proper PC VR mod in the works by handsOnHands on Reddit ;
- You can re-enable the 360 degree free look but you will be able to see inside the body;
- There's probably more I am forgetting but I will update the description more in the coming days.
RE4 Remake – First Person Mode + Custom Aim Stances + Iron Sights (Requires REFramework)
This is a tactical first-person mod with the following features: a toggleable first-person camera, per-weapon custom shooting/aim stances (presets), better scope view and an iron sights mode for all weapons.1) First Person Mode
- Toggleable first-person perspective
- Optional transform offsets (back/up/right) and FOV adjustment so you can fine-tune the camera position.
- Automatic hiding (head/hat/accessories) to prevent clipping in FP
Default controls
- Keyboard: FP Modes Toggle = F10 (Might need to aim after if camera does not fully set)
- Controller: no default button bound, but there is an optional Double-Press LT/L2 toggle (enabled by default) and you can bind a dedicated pad toggle in the hotkey UI.
2) Custom Shooting / Aim Stances (Preset A–D)
- Per-weapon stance presets you can swap instantly while playing (A[Lean Left]/B[Lean Right]/C[Canted]/D[One-Arm/Custom]) useful for different aiming styles or weapon categories.
- Hotkey-driven: pressing an already-active preset disables the custom stance (quick on/off behavior).
Default controls (modifier ON by default, can select hold or toggle in v0.932+)
Keyboard:
- Preset Modifier = Right Mouse;
- Preset A = Q, Preset B = E, Preset C = G, Preset D = F;
- Usage: hold Right Mouse, then press Q/E/G/F.
Controller:
- Pad Preset Modifier = LT (L2);
- Pad Preset A = LB (L1), Pad Preset B = RB (R1), Pad Preset C = RStickPush;
- Pad Preset D = LStickPush (requires triple-press);
- Usage: hold LT/L2, then press the preset button.
3) Iron Sights
- Iron sight mode for almost all weapons.
Default controls (modifier ON by default)
Keyboard:
- Iron Sight Modifier = Right Mouse;
- Iron Sight Toggle = EX0 (mouse extra button);
- Usage: hold Right Mouse, then press EX0.
Controller:
- Pad Iron Sight Modifier = LT (L2);
- Pad Iron Sight Toggle = B (Circle);
- Usage: hold LT/L2, then press B/Circle;
- Customize everything by enabling "Advanced Customization Options" (Iron Sight Position, Scope Offsets, Visual Recoil).

- Install order: always install these mods last for best compatibility. Tactical FPS Mode->Classic RE4 Laser->RROF
