This game was my second game from this universe and the first one I bought for PS5. I liked the visuals, character and enemy designs, and the plot may have seemed a bit too far-fetched in places, but it never let me get bored. Even after 3 years of release and the big release of Requiem, I still come back to this game to spend another evening watching Leon's vacation. I was especially impressed by the reimagining of the DLC with Ada. It may be short compared to the main game, but it's in no way inferior in content, although there are replays of scenes and arenas, they also added cut content and, of course, rethought many of the plot twists from the original that were stupid for me personally.

An excellent remake of a cult game. One of my favorite installments of the Resident Evil saga. Excellent graphics, story, and atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the updated version.

A magnificent game, nothing more to add. A must-play for all Resident Evil fans! The only issue was that I encountered a fatal D3D error once during my playthrough, but after restarting, everything was fine.

Arguably the best remake of the series! Capcom has truly done a serious and enormous job: they not only added gorgeous graphics and a ton of detail, completely reworked the combat system, but also made changes to the story. Some characters' personalities were changed, giving them more screen time and depth. Many plot points were also reworked, of course, for the better.

The game leans more toward action, but this action is perfectly executed and doesn't overwhelm, unlike the sixth game, where the action became tiresome after just 10 minutes. There's also plenty of high-quality horror here.

This is arguably the perfect Resident Evil game and an example of what a remake of the fifth game and subsequent games in the series should be.

This is an amazing game. The story is gripping, the characters are interesting. It's not just a jump scare, but a harmonious blend of cool mechanics, a captivating story, and a horror atmosphere. Familiar elements of the series and epic moments are still there. The graphics are very nice.

The best remake (or whatever it is) I've seen!

This game will give you new sensations (if you have never played this game) and old ones, it will present a new contrast in the resident evil series. If you are looking for interesting puzzles and live action, want to feel something new, then come here!

The game is just a gun, graphics, plot, stupidly everything is immaculate! I haven’t played such high-quality games for a long time, the ending, of course, is so-so, but the gameplay and the middle of the game are worth it!

One of the most ideal remakes in general in the entire history of games, it was necessary to try to do everything so well, which, in fact, is what the capcom studio did, I thought it would be difficult to surpass the remake of 2 parts of resident evil, but they succeeded, graphics 10/10, plot 8/10 , gameplay 9/10, optimization 10/10, in short, the game is top, I recommend everyone to play it.

I extremely, extremely strongly recommend a remake of an already iconic part, everything was done at the highest level, this is how remakes should be done, everything in the game is cool, the plot, the characters, the optimization. Resident Evil 4 is one of the best games in history. It has amazing graphics, an interesting plot, addictive gameplay and an exciting atmosphere. Every moment of the game is filled with tension and horror, and I could not tear myself away from it until I completed it.

The characters are also very well developed and I was interested in each of them. Leon is a great character and his personality and way of speaking were very important parts of the story. The villagers were truly scary and I often felt on the edge of survival as I made my way through many obstacles and combat on the way to rescuing Ashley.

Resident Evil 4 is a true masterpiece and I recommend it to anyone who wants to continue the series and those looking for a great action-horror game.

I wouldn't call it the game of the year, but it's still a great game. The Japanese have once again produced an exemplary remake - not as exemplary as the second part, but fortunately not as unsuccessful as the infamous "three".

The quibbles mostly concern little things: the physics of destructible objects - sometimes ridiculously so, lip syncing outside of cutscenes is mediocre - let's be honest, glass doesn't break, wooden doors and cabinets don't break - but they should, it was in the original, what's the problem?

A good remake of a not very good resident. The remake clearly benefited the game, it is many times better than the original, there was less of that wild pathos that is not good for games these days. The remake, like the original, did not become a horror, it is still a cheerful joke, where you endure hundreds of sectarians in line. The appearance of the characters has become better and more realistic, for example, Ada’s long and uncomfortable dress has been replaced by high leather boots and a red sweater with a skirt.

Inadequate plot, good combat and sound, surprisingly smooth optimization for modern games.
