Optimization aimed at eliminating most stutters, improving performance and stability, reducing input latency, and enhancing image clarity — all without any loss of visual quality. The goal was to include as many optimizations as possible (for CPU/GPU/RAM/SSD) to remove most lag, improve performance, reduce input latency, and enhance clarity (for example, by optimizing Motion Blur and reducing ghosting), without degrading visuals or causing bugs or crashes.
What to choose between the VRR and No VRR mod variants:
VRR stands for Variable Refresh Rate, which can correspond to G-Sync for NVIDIA or Freesync for AMD. You need to check if this feature is enabled both in the NVIDIA/AMD control panel and on the display itself (monitor/TV).
- If yes in both cases — use the VRR mod variant;
- If not — use the No VRR variant.
How to run:
- Open the game at least once and close it, then simply download/extract my Engine.ini and place it in: %localappdata%\Routine\Saved\Config\Windows;
- Then right-click the file -> Properties -> make sure "Read-Only" is checked -> Apply/OK.
For Xbox PC version only:
- Place the file in: %localappdata%\Routine\Saved\Config\WinGDK
- Then right-click the file -> Properties -> make sure "Read-Only" is checked -> Apply/OK.
To uninstall — just delete the modified Engine.ini, and the game will create a default file at the next launch.
