ReBorn is the largest mod-patch for Sacred. It includes changes to overall balance, bosses, heroes, items and their drops, game mechanics, and even some small but significant changes in the game world! Moreover, ReBorn is the only modification that fixes some bugs!
The ReBorn mod is created by experienced players for experienced players, but it is not just mindless tweaking of enemy parameters multiple times. The balance is built around the mechanics of different types of damage and resistances; there is no universal choice, and enemies have clear vulnerabilities!
Sacred ReBorn HD is the first modification for Sacred Underworld that changes the standard resolution of 1024x768.
The modification increases the window and visible area in the game to a resolution of 1366x768. This allows the game to stretch on 16:9 aspect ratio monitors in correct proportions with minimal quality loss.
How to enable it?
Very simple! You need to add a new parameter — WIDESCREEN and set its value to 1 in the configuration file Settings.cfg. At any moment, HD can be disabled by setting the same parameter to 0.
Since the modification is extensive, there are some issues regarding the main menu and the character export/import window. These will be fixed and improved in future updates.
Otherwise, the entire in-game interface is adjusted to the new resolution.
If you find any other issues or unstable operation of the modification, please let us know! In case of game crashes, please take a screenshot with a full error report.
Note that there is a compatibility limitation. With WIDESCREEN: 1, the modification will not run in compatibility mode with Windows 98.
Attention! The mod is installed on an already installed game!
1. Download the installer;
2. Specify the game folder to the installer;
3. Done!
The modification runs from a separate exe (SacredReborn.exe), and the mod also has its own server (SacredReborn Gameserver.exe). The original game files are not replaced, so you can always switch from the mod back to the original game! The mod can also be safely removed using the corresponding exe (Sacred ReBorn Uninstall.exe)

ReBorn - это крупнейшмй мод-патч для Sacred. В ней есть изменения общего баланса, боссов, героев, предметов и их выпадения, игровых механик, даже есть небольшие, но существенные изменения в игровом мире! Более того, ReBorn — это единственная модификация, которая исправляет часть багов!
ReBorn мод создан опытными игроками для опытных игроков, но это не бездумное выкручивание параметров врагов в N-раз. Баланс выстроен вокруг механики различных типов урона и сопротивлений, тут нет универсального выбора, у врагов есть явные уязвимости!
Sacred ReBorn HD — это первая модификация для Sacred Underworld, меняющая стандартное разрешение 1024х768.
Модификация увеличивает окно и видимую область в игре до разрешения 1366х768. Это позволяет растягивать игру на мониторах с соотношением сторон 16:9 в правильных пропорциях с наименьшими потерями качества.
Как включить?
Очень просто! Нужно вписать в файл конфигурации Settings.cfg новый параметр — WIDESCREEN и присвоить ему значение 1. В любой момент HD можно отключить, выставив этому же параметру 0.
Так как модификация вышла масштабной, есть некоторые недочеты, касающиеся главного меню и окна экспорта/импорта персонажей. По мере следующих обновлений это будет исправляться и улучшаться.
В остальном же, весь внутриигровой интерфейс настроен в соответствии с новым разрешением.
В случае выявления прочих недочетов или нестабильной работы модификации, просьба сообщать нам! При вылетах игры следует сделать скриншот с полным отчетом об ошибке.
Стоит обратить внимание на то, что появилось ограничение совместимости. При WIDESCREEN: 1 модификация не запустится в режиме совместимости с Windows 98
Внимание! Мод ставится на уже установленную игру!
1. Скачайте установщик;
2. Укажите установщику папку с игрой;
3. Готово!
Модификация запускается с отдельного exe (SacredReborn.exe), сервер у мода также свой (SacredReborn Gameserver.exe). Файлы оригинальной игры не заменяются, поэтому Вы всегда сможете переключиться с мода на оригинальную игру! Мод также безболезненно удаляется соответствующим exe (Sacred ReBorn Uninstall.exe)
