Set in New York from 1945 to 1955, this crime action-adventure follows a player-created criminal who joins the Corleone family and climbs its ranks. After starting out with petty thefts and small-time jobs, the character is accepted into the organization and sets out to earn respect and become a Don.
Carrying out orders involves bank heists, extortion, and attacks on rivals. Family problems can be handled through violence, diplomacy, or a combination of the two; intimidation and negotiation shape interactions with other characters, while decisions have lasting consequences. The game combines familiar moments from The Godfather with original missions.
