This is that guy, the 0nm-killer!
1. Gameplay. At first glance, it looks like a typical third-person shooter from the 2000s, but the execution and interrogation system, as well as the brutality, set this game apart from the rest and make you come back to it at least once a year.
2. Graphics. Come on, guys, it's 2005, don't expect any special beauty from this game, but it doesn't require it. The graphics are quite decent for its time.
3. Plot. It's there, you know, typical of a comic book movie or an old-school action movie. Not good, but not bad either. So to speak, thank you for being there.

1.Геймплей. На первой взгляд перед нами типичный шутер от 3-го лица из нулевых ,однако система казней и допросов ,а так же жестокость выделяют эту игру среди остальных ,и заставляют возвращаться в неё хотя бы раз в год.
2.Графика. Камон,ребята ,2005 год,не ждите особой красоты от этой игры впрочем ,она того и не требует. Для своего времени графика вполне сносная.
3.Сюжет. Он есть,такой, знаете ,типичный для кинокомикса или боевика старой школы. Не хорошо ,но и неплохо. Так сказать ,спасибо что есть.

Long before the appearance of the Batman: Arkham series, video games about comics were still garbage (let’s remember the under-games about Spider-Man). But there were also pleasant exceptions like The Punisher. The Punisher is good as a third-person action game and as a comic book game (the origins are felt throughout the game). Little things like the main character's lair (and what an epic fight will happen there!) and places for torture (each interesting in its own way) worked out especially well. Well, battles against bosses deserve some nice words.
The Punisher may appeal to both fans of comics in general, and the Punisher in particular, and average gamers.
Задолго до появления серии Batman: Arkham видеоигры про комиксам были ещё тем мусором (вспомним хотя бы недоигры про Человека-Паука). Но попадались и приятные исключения вроде The Punisher. «Каратель» хорош как экшен от третьего лица и как игра по комиксам (на протяжении всей игры чувствуются истоки). Особенно хорошо удались мелочи вроде берлоги главного героя (а какая эпическая драка там случится!) и мест для пыток (каждое интересно по-своему). Ну и сражения против боссов заслуживают отдельных приятных слов.

An incredibly complex and bloody grinder. The meat action with torture was amazing in its cruelty. We play as the Punisher, who clears the streets of garbage. To obtain information, you can torture victims: threaten to throw them out of a window, put them in a meat grinder, oven, etc. The murders themselves look simply breathtaking. How I would like all this beauty on the new engine, but most likely no one will do it, which is a pity. Although the AI in the game is stupid, it is difficult to play, because they attack in crowds. Maybe now I could have passed it easily, but then, in 2005, I couldn’t master Russian and abandoned the game.
Невероятно сложная и кровавая мясорубка. Мясной экшн с пытками поражал своей жестокостью. Мы играем за Карателя, который очищает улицы от мусора. Чтобы получить информацию, можно пытать жертв: пригрозить выкинуть из окна, засунуть в мясорубку, печку и т.д. Сами убийства смотрятся просто умопомрачительно. Как хотелось бы всю эту красоту на новом движке, но, скорее всего, это делать никто не будет, а жаль. Хоть ИИ в игре и туповат, но играть сложно, ибо нападают они толпой. Может, сейчас я легко бы прошел, но тогда, в 2005, я не осилил Русского, и забросил игру.
