The Tenth Line

The Tenth Line is a fantasy role-playing game with 2D platforming, following a princess from a small nation as she tries to escape a mysterious cult in pursuit. Accompanied by unusual allies, she explores a world of humans, beasts, and dragons, where tensions have risen after the assassination of a neighboring nation's king and a long-prophesied end of the world draws near.

The party travels through distinct areas in platforming stages, with each character controlled separately and able to move, attack, and interact with the surroundings in different ways. Settlements offer quests and card games, while encounters with enemies lead to turn-based battles featuring timed attacks and targeting. Progression relies on items used to train characters and improve their abilities; power levels earned along the way can be spent on the puzzle-like Power Flow board to raise stats and unlock skills. Post-game challenges and a New Game Plus mode are also available.
