An isometric action RPG set in a small American town overrun by the living dead. The protagonist enters just before the military locks down the town and fights through hordes of zombies to complete a mission. The story varies by character: five classes are available—the marine, butcher, assassin, marshal, and exorcist—each with an individual storyline, abilities, and skill tree.

Combat lets characters wield two weapons at once or equip a single two-handed weapon, with options spanning melee and ranged arms, grenades, and magical items. Developing a character’s skills unlocks new attacks and defensive abilities. The town is populated by different enemy types and bosses, while friendly NPCs may ask for help or join the fight; vehicles can also be used against the undead.
